Lydia Spring House

The Lydia Spring House is located on State Route 33 just below a major spring in the mountains. Built in 1891 of solid Oak and Chestnut timbers, this house once served as the Lydia Post Office. With three large bedrooms and two bathrooms, small groups or families will find The Lydia Spring House a charming escape from city life. The living room features a cozy fireplace and chimney created with stones collected from the mountainside.

This building has four queen sized beds in three bedrooms and sleeps a maximum of 8 people (adults or children).Book Online


The Lydia Spring House is a historic building located on State Route 33 in Swift Run Pass in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This property was acquired by Blue Ridge Pottery in 2004 and has undergone extensive renovations over the past two years. As with any historic building, preservation and renewal are constant requirements.
